Horse racing in poland does it exist ?

I've just googled it and nothing came up, for a horse loving nation this seemed rather incredible. Now I'm not a gambling man but I do like track meeting for a day out and thought I could perhaps treat my cousins to a day at the races when I'm in Poland next, thats mid april this year.

So if anyone knows anything which may help......I'd be grateful :0)

Horseracing in poland does it exist ?

There are three race tracks in Poland. One is in Wroclaw. I have no idea when meetings take place, but if you search: horse racing in wroclaw... I'm sure that you will come up with something.

Edit. It seems I was a bit late.

i've been to the one in Wroclaw, it was the funniest time i had, could not bet as it was not allowed, a couple of the horses went the wrong way and had to turn back, but i could buy beer and sausage..

Horseracing in Poland? Isn't this the frantic rush to get onto the trams? Hehehe

I really shouldn't laugh...but I can just see the jockeys on their horses cussing, as the horses go the wrong direction. My father would laugh pretty hard at that!

While it appears that Horse Racing in Poland is non-existant. Here in America, where horse racing is becoming non-relevant, the biggest race of the year is this Saturaday; the Kentucky Derby. I do some ameteur handicapping and my favorite for the race is a pony named "Pyro," althought the poll positions aren't fixed yet (they're happening as I type this) so all this is moot. However, this Saturday being an important day for Poland as well, I'm looking forward to sitting back with a vodka and watching the race. Cheers!
