Divorce in Poland with children

Hi everyone

I just wondered what the situation was in Poland regarding a couple divorcing who have a child.
My friend is getting divorced at the moment and I am trying to be supportive. I have read that divorce is not usually granted in Poland when there is a child involved and just wondered if this was true? They have lived apart now for two years, but I am not sure that this will make any difference. Any one know anything about this?

Thanks in advance

Divorce is granted even when there are children involved. In majority of the cases the mother gains primary physical custody granting the father visitor rights. Addressing the court with reasonable conditions as why the marriage didn't work out is sufficient enough for the court system.
