Trying to book a flight to Warsaw for only few days over Xmas and while I am there, I wanted to stock up with Polish stuff to take back home. Before I book the flight I wanted to check up if shops / restaurants would be opended on the 26th or the 27th Dec..
26th December are shops and restaurants in Poland open?
From what i can remember from last year, they are defintely not open on the 26th. Not sure about the 27th.

Shops are always closed on 25 and 26 December. Most would not open untill Monday 29Dec. Some restaurants are open, but not very busy. We rather spend Christmas visiting family at homes, but I am sure in big cities you are going to find restaurants waiting for foreigners ;)
i see... i will only be in Warsaw from the 24th -27th... wanted to get myself a nice leather jacket, polish food and take my family friends out for dinner... but i guess, everything will be shut then...

24th -27th...
on the 24th stores and restaurants are open to the certain hour... the it's dinner time (Wigilia)... 25th is xmas day one everything closed....26th is xmas dat two, everything closed... maybe you could do the restaurant thing and shopping on 27th then... well, as much as you could do...
27th Dec is a saturday so I have a bad feeling that everyone will just take a long xmas break. anyway, i will see. if not i can get few things at the airport...
well, if i dont manage to do my shopping done this time, i will have to come back again, Poland is just so far from where i live, not easy though.
