haha, well i figured that. i was just wonderin if there was anything special to the culture. like u know when spanish girls turn 15 they have a quinceanera. i wanna know if there is anything like that for Polish people cause i wanna celebrate my sweet 16 like the true polak i am. : )
a quinceanera is a celebration in the spanish culture. when a girl turns 15, she has a party called a quince, which means 15. its a big thing that celebrates the girl becoming a woman. i went to my best friend's last year and it was REALLY extravagant and really awesome.
I don't know if in Poland the 16th birthday is a big celebration as in USA. Some families have big parties for a 16th birthday and other families only celebrate Names Day.
do the people that have big parties for their 16th birthday in poland do anything special? or is it just a big party like they do in the US?
does anyone know where to go to learn the mazurka? i mean my dzia dzia could probably teach me, but he's like 80 and i don't know how well it would go : )
