wroclaw is nice all of it. Szczecin in completely different more slow people take time easy. But now influence from western Europe is taking over here too and i think the people in szczecin they are gonna start finding life difficult. The price have exploded in just two months, starting with rent and everyday needs. I cant realise how they can live with 2,000 zloty whn they pay 1200 zloty rent for appartment.

Thread attached on merging:
what is sunday like for the typical polish family

when i was little sundays were family days-lunch- visiting relatives-no work-going to church.

its different now here in england-with shops open-shift work etc

i am curious to know what sundays are like for families in poland-is it still tradional for most-are shops open?

What do polish people do on Sundays? how do they spend their day with the family? do they go out all day? and if they go out where they go? any ideas of what to do in SZCZECIN? such big country with nothing to do

as far as i know... on Sunday, they like to drive around. that's why very popular called " SUNDAY DRIVER "... driving very slow often made traffic.

but in SZCZECIN? No idea...

They probably have a similar sunday to most of the rest of the world, or maybe not :)

I'm guessing though a lot may attend church but not much different from any other nationality or race.

It's a silly question but i enjoyed it

Not that many residents of Szczecin pay that much for rent. Most housing is either owned by residents, housing cooperative or city - all pay much less then what you can find in rental market. Besides there are 10 000 residents in Szczecin that don't pay rent for years. Eviction is only possible after at least 2 court hearings and City has to provide the evicted with other housing (projects) which are built at rather slow rate (some hundreds a year).

Welcome to Szczecin.
