after one year here in szczecin i learnt all the holes on the surface of the streets. all you can do on sunday or walk around, or go for beer or coffee or just stay at home. amasing i realised many polish people do not have hobbies.

I used to live in Szczecin and I know what you mean. Polish people don't mind, because it is mainly a family day, church day etc. It is a fact.

My suggestion: Berlin is 2 hours away by train, 1,5 by car (there is also private transportation leaving from teh PKP station with good rates and they drop you off at Alexander Platz in former east Berlin) - there is always something to do in Berlin if money is not a problem. You can even take a one day trip.

Meet up for beer with Nauczyciel;P
Go for a nice cup of tea, coffee, real hot chocollate at "Fanaberia" on Boguslawa Passage (my friend runs it).

How boring is that! See, if you don't have to try and remember, if you just know you did, then you can spend the whole sunday lauging about it, rather than tense yourself up about it? ;)

you go with car to berlin 2 hours

1,5 if there is not traffic.

- Have you been to Puszcza Bukowa?
- have you visited the bunkers for WWII - that might be an idea for a family trip - enter from PKP station
-Waly Chrobrego - Marine Museum, Zamek, there are some art exhibits in Szczecin in the museum

On Sundays people go to church then they will stop at a cukiernia buy some ciastka, pączki, pastry and go visit family, then have dinner together, then go for a walk in the park. It's a family day and some people don't believe in working on Sundays.

that is true, but perhaps a bit too cold at this time of the year.

Not necessarly, you can cruise the river in a big boat sitting in a lower deck looking through the window dining and wining.

If not, museums then, fantastic adventure

I did not see the world war II bunkers thanks i will go see them. But then also this cruise on the river dining on the boat. I never saw this in Szczecin. The nly boat that go around the odra here it takes around 40 minutes and they just take you around the dock that is all. The other ship restaruant is always at the same place. Regarding sports things, are there any motor race circuits or go kart trakc that are functiontal. Any English people in Szczecin or maybe someone from MALTA
