My friend is from Warsaw and other Polish people will often refuse to talk to him or turn their nose up at him because he is from Warsaw, why is this?
Why do other Polish people hate Warsavians?
It's not the rule that people from another cities don't like these ones living in Warsaw... These ones who judge you on where you live obviously are retarded.

obviously are retarded
true true true
why is this
becouse they are farm boys
that is why
so its an inferiority complex?
because he is from the capital and they are jealous?
or perhaps there is some other reason I don't know about ?
Is it quite common or just limited to young male poles?
For example, would a 40year old farmer act like this?

It's like this sometimes in Norway to. People from the cities look down on the people from outside of cities ,and vise versa. It does happen most often among young people.
Possibly because Warsavians are generally richer than people from other parts of Poland. Some say they are self-conceited and loud too. At least the native Warsavians.

Possibly the pace of live in Warsaw affects the people who live there.
It would be similar to London. If you have a problem no-one has time for you. This makes Londoners/Warsavians appear stuck up or ignorant.
Of course I know it's not true, but some people have ideas in their head before they visit and some of them run deep.

well... my guess would be.... since most countries start off with farms and some people might just have attitude problems toward the people in warsaw.... who knows why... probably because farm life and city life is different and people have different aspects at life... country folks more relaxed yet work hard.... and the city slickers think they are better and dont wanna get their hands dirty.... thats my guess... i happen to have family all over poland so i dont really see why people are like this.... altho one of my grandmas is all into shopping... and the other one into baking.... they just come from different parts of poland.... this really is retarded
obviously are retarded

It's the same in Russia, people hate the newly rich Moscow residents if they live elsewhere, like in the countryside. It's merely class difference and jealousy.
Class difference, true to an extent. Still, many Warsavians took off for manual jobs in the UK and the UK has an ugly scene for lower-end workers. Job share, PT and low wages. Being in a job centre in Scotland is a depressing experience.
Who's classy now??

Varsovians can come across as conceited and consider others as bumpkins. I know, because I am one, Varsovian, that is. I'm from Śródmieście(City Center), so if you're from anything farther than Mokotów, which is in Warsaw also, you're a bumpkin too. :)
If you're from Cracow, you're not only a bumpkin; you're a penny pinching bumpkin.
Normal tribal behavior; silly, but practiced all over the world.

Warsovians think they're better than everyone else because they're from the capitol city and the largest city in Poland, they're wise guys, so people don't like that, but Polish people in general look for people to look down on so it doesn't really matter.
