I'm looking for non-smoking places, cafes, sitting areas in Krakow where I can plug a laptop in for a couple of hours.

Thanks

cracowonline.com/190,The_Internet_in_Krakow.htm - Internet in Krakow

this site has some addresses, as for the non-smoking you need to check it yourself

Places that are partly or wholly non-smoking are listed here: lokalbezpapierosa.pl/index.php/mapa/action/lista/miasto/1

I know that you can access the wireless internet from Noworolski on the Rynek (they also used to have the best almond tort in Krakow, but sadly no more).

I'm just waiting for the day that drinking alcohol becomes illegal in pubs, hehehe

I am waiting until I can enjoy a pint without smelling like a nasty smoker after leaving.

Good luck finding a non smoking place...98% of girls and 75% of guys smoke here.

Even when the law goes into effect against smoking in pubs they will ignore it like the Italians do.

Well I don't see it as a bad thing...I hate smoking and having to breathe it and stink after being around it...but I can see how a smoker wouldn't like it.

on the subject of anti-smoking... is the image on the t-shirt protesting the ban in germany in incredibly bad taste or are people over reacting...?

smoke ban

No I agree that is stupid...and not at all witty or smart as I am sure the designer thinks.

Thanks for the links inkrakow and miranda.

Internet access is not important as just want to do some work on laptop, but without relying on battery power.

I've seen someone plug in their laptop in Galeria Kazimierz. Just wondered if there were any other places.

Being a non-smoker, I start feeling sick after an hour in smoky places...I didn't realise the % of girls and guys smoking were so high.
