"Londyńczycy" - TVP's production about Polish immigrants in UK.

The premiere episode of the first series telling the story of the new Polish emigration in the British Isles Fri " Londoners " you will see the 23rd of October TVP1.

Series consists of thirteen 45 - minute episodes , which will be broadcast on TVP1 every Thursday from October 23 hrs . 21.10 . The protagonists of " Londoners " are Poles who decided to change their fate and start a new life abroad - both those for which London is only a place of work and desperate fighting there for survival.

As the authors note scenario - Eve Popiołek and Mark Kreutz , serial to be a fictional chronicle of the youngest Polish emigration. The writers have spent many weeks in London Poles know their life and observing everyday problems.

" London on the one hand distracts from the life he led before man , from dreams, habits and plans , on the other hand, puts him against the wall - you have to deal with, you just have to survive. This situation is extreme , interesting to present the writer " - stressed Eve Popiołek while talking to reporters at a press conference.

I think I'll be crying at the last scene ;) So romantic... I just hope they won't show just the bottom line of polish emigration there.

I would be grateful if someone could explain what the programme contains. It's just that I want to pass it onto my Polish friends, but if its negative and biased, that would not give a fair overall picture of real life here.

Have they chosen a cross-section of polish people to interview? I was also wondering is it all based in London, or do they choose other cities.

A little explanation would be great, and what time does it appear on TVP1 in Poland?

It's not a documentary, but a drama or "serial" about Poles living in London.
I only caught a little bit of the first one last night, so can't really tell you about the content.
I did notice that there were a few scenes with English dialogue/characters and Polish subtitles.

I think that this program is for entertainment and not to be taken seriously, it is for fun with a grain of truth.

heard the producer/director & some randomers from the cast all got arrested in London last week... they got pissed & then arrested ... so funny!!
