Anyone know anything about maluchs? the exhaust has dropped off ours and its now spraying oil over the manifolt through what looks like an engine mount?

Never seen anything like it and as its not a bmw i'm stumped at how to fix it,

Is anyone here in poznan who knows a thing or 2 about these strange little cars?

theres a machined mounting port on the right hand side of the engine below the dipstick and there seems to be oil spraying out of that onto the exhaust. Never seen anything like it before in any car ive ever worked on

Surley its a gasket leak or is it spraying out of the dipstick tube, breather pipe near the area with a split?.Id gunk the whole engine so its nice and clean. It would give you a better idea of were the oil is comming from.Oh by the way I purchased a 126 for £99.00. I pick it up when im next over.Ive done my home work and apparently they love kingpins(every few years)Try this web site: fiat126.co.uk

It seems to be coming out of the dipstick tube, the airbox is also full of oil to so I assumed a blocked breather, I need to fit a new exhaust soon as the one thats on there appears to have split an is blowing badly, I'll gunk it tomorrow and get to work, I still think a motorbike engine would be a better option :)

I know but its not as cheap as you think unless you have a machine shop in your back garden.Buying the engine and electrics out of a write off not a problem, its the mounts and transfer box(depending how you want the drive)Saying that there are some clever people who will probably do it on a shoe strig budget.Ill wait till Xmas when im back over in Poland and pick mine up and get in the damp garage pit and take a look.Chichento sporting engine possibly easier?
