Are there any bars that all the English speaking foreigners hang out in?

I know from experience that ex-pat communities are pretty friendly elsewhere, is it the same in Poland?

I've always been a fan of this internet cafe. I met people there from austrailia, canada and even an old couple from pennsyvania in poland for a wedding. Plus alot of english speaking poles. Some of the irish pubs might have english speakers as well. I never really sought out that type of place though.

Check frogsco.pl, they organise lots of social events for the foreign community. It is rugby connected but don't let that put you off, their number contains many who do not play, but simple drink.

My info is a bit out of date but the following were always popular:

Someplace Else at the Sheraton
Champions Sports Bar @ the Marriott (40 TV screens)
Organza
Bar Below & Bradleys
Any Irish bar !

just back from Warsaw...i go there every 2nd weekend to visit my girlfriend....i went to bar below for the first time and i was very impressed with it...the staff and the manager Niall were very friendly so id recomend that to anyone who wants to visit an Irish/Brittish bar to hang out....not too pricey either.

Bar Below is great, but also try Warsaw Tortilla Factory for good tex-mex food and great drinks.

Bradley's between the Holiday Inn and Interconti Hotels is very good, so too are Bar Below and Tortilla Factory.

Try to avoid Patrick's ( an English visitor had a fatal spiking in there, I'm told ).

Merged: Anyone know of any pub quizes in Warsaw?

As above, my friends and I are moving to Warsaw in the autumn and like the stupidity of competing for zywiec.

In some bars, they have a trivia game played on a large screen tv. They are linked via sattelite to other bars, and drinkers compete to answer multiple choice questions quickly for points. Can be played as individuals or teams.
