With Fire & Sword mini-series & book

Has anyone seen this mini-series, With Fire & Sword? Can I get the book in english? I got very confused over who was fighting who as it changed all the time. Can anyone suggest more books/movies that cover early Polish history? (the Cussock & the Poles & the Turks...) The notes at the end of the series stated that the fighting went on for over 150 years. I guess it's a disadvantage being American because we only have 250 years of history to remember!

It's a part of Trilogy:

With Fire and Sword, The Deluge and Colonel Wolodyjowski.

All of them should be in English.

There are also Polish movies basd on each of these books.
