Decently priced gym or health club in Warsaw?

I actually posted this in the Sports forum by mistake - wondered why it wasn't here. LOL.

Are there are AFFORDABLE gyms anywhere other than in the big hotels (waaaaaaaaaay beyond my means!)

My favourite - 117zl per month for students: fitness-platinum.com.pl

it's close to 'metro Politechnika' subway station.

Other prices not for students:
165zl - no entry limits + you can exercise all the time during gym open hours
130zl - no entry limits, but you can exercise till 5PM

There is also one really cheap, but I haven't been there and it is far from city center (Praga Poludnie - South Praga) - kaweczynska.pl/sport/silownia.html it seems that it costs only 60zl per month.... nice!

I went for full access which is 130 per month, and I am delighted that there's a bus right back home from virtually outside. :)

either no way does this place exist, or my polish is even worse than i thought. walked all around there and found nothing.

Holmes place (in arkadia) does not seem bat either.

I've an important question: is anyone here in Holmes Place ? As every gym they don't have a "fixed price" (as in you can't find it in a brochure, the guy writes it down on a paper) and I just want to ensure I won't be screwed if I register.

The prices they offer is 200 PLN / month for a one-year contract.
What do you guys think ?

Gymnasion is really good. They have a chain of gyms all over Poland. I am going to the one in the Olympic Centre here in Warsaw. Costs 700 PLN for six months.

Holmes place at the Hilton is min 300PLN a month so sounds like a resonable deal for their Arkadia gym.

Hehe, this place exists as I'm there (near this gym) every other weekend :-) I just haven't been exercising in this gym :-)

fitness platinum is TINY... but it's got weights and a good-sized exercise room, and mid-day dudes are there just to lift and take care of business. good times.

160 pln for 4 weeks.

130 pln for 4 weeks before 5PM

+10% discount for students :D
