Airports being built in Polska

10 Apr 2007 /  #1
Again surfing away I have noticed that Poland along with its general EU funded structural renaissance is both building brand new aiports, but also converting military ones for civilian use. I think this is great, it will provide employment and will really bring Polska into the center of Europe. Its worth checking the article on Mamdom. very interesting.

Poland needs more high-standard airports in all areas. I don't know how people will go for Euro 2012, best by train maybe.

"I think this is great, it will provide employment..."

I was under the impression that Polish employers where having a hard time finding workers for the jobs that already exist ?
On one of thoses immigration documentaries a Polish Minister visted Peterborough and addressed a hall filled with Polish ex-pats. He told them about the economic changes, new opportunities and asked them to consider returning home (a desperate 'your country needs you'). At the end of his talk only ONE PERSON stayed to ask further details and he was only interested if the wage could be negotiated.

I'm looking forward to when the pay starts to match British wages. I'll be over there myself.

Rzeszow-Jasionka is in the process of building a badly needed terminal, which honestly is long over due, but it will definately give Rzeszow a new look, once its up.
