Hello all,
I have a question on language learning resources I haven't been able to find in the archives. I've been studying polish for a few years and while I'm conversationally fluent I still have a pretty limited vocabulary. I'm hoping to find some resources online which will let me practice reading polish without making me look up every other word! I'd love the equivalent of the simple English wikipedia, or something targeted at younger children, but most of what I've managed to find for children was limited to silly flash games. Anyone have links they can send my way?

thanks!

This might be a bit basic for you. I used this to build up my vocabulary in the early days. You can always scroll the multiple choice answers off the screen to make it a bit harder.

are you based in Poland? If so I recommend going to the local library and getting childrens' books. My first book was called "Iwonka bez ogonka" and I was very pleased with myself when I cracked it!

Maybe this one too? Start from scratch. Before I came to Poland, I used a Berlitz phrase book to learn a few things. It also depends on how you learn. My co-teacher is doing a class on this soon, learning methods and best way.
