How did you manage to get yourself a laptop with Polish on it then?

Anyway, is it just the websites that are in Polish or the whole of firefox?

try to be more specific- which version of Firefox are you using? on which system (windows, linux, *bsds)?

the whole of firefox?

i'm guessing the this part as he/she said he didn't know what the buttons/menues meant in polish.

i'd say unistall the version you have and reinstall english language version.

That might mean going into the control panel and uninstalling it from there. I'm no computer expert, so I don't know. Had it been nicked off someone Polish?

Fair enough. Although the help pages I've looked at have pictures too.

Best idea. Uninstall (if computer lets you) and just use another browser to download English version.

That might mean going into the control panel and uninstalling it from there.

That's right but it might be difficult if its all in Polish...

control panel shouldn't be in polish. he could also uninstall it from the link in the start menu > programs > mozilla > uninstall

Could be worse - you could accidentally switch it all into Arabic. But still at least then you'd still recognise the numbers. So if you're going to do that, do it with your phone instead.

My Mozilla thingy has a spelling checker. I don't like it because it seems to be set for American English, so it doesn't like British spelling or any foreign words (cześćwyszyscy), therefore any of the words I've italicised. I don't suppose it would be particularly difficult to change it, but I just haven't bothered looking, so the answer may be:

Don't change Mozilla - learn Polish.

control panel shouldn't be in polish.

Might be if the laptop is in Polish (which I am suspecting it might be).
