Doing miscelleneous job s for food etc. The enjoyment has been in geeeting to be arround my beautiful place more. Ah, only if i were a bit more wealthy. Savings go fast. Life is so much fun. I have thought of moving to another country. This does not seem to be a very good idea either. I see some new mwembers on here. Welcome. And till we meet again. Good luck to all of you.

Love / Polish man dating Russian women [42]

Before making a decision to both move to a new land such as Poland, I'd recommend either a trip for you to her homeland, or one for her to the US. You really get to know a person once you see them in their normal

First thank you fro reading through the thread ...unlike others. Second, She has applied for a Tourist Visa and is going to stay with me on my farm for a month. If she can handle this place , she can handle anything. She is 30 years old and I am 45 so we make a nice couple. Afterr she comes here and if she still is interested. I am going to visit her home in July. That is the tentative schedule. I must say I still remain cautious as time will tell what is to become of this.

If this is true then I am really going to like her even more if she behaves like you and in some ways you are correct. Great Though It takes her so long to get a visa 6 weeks to visit the US I don't know how I can hold out that long. My special regards to you Wyspi

This thread is a great read. It only confirms what I hear from all my friends who have visited Poland. It is a fairly decent place to live.

Talk is one thing ,doing is another. I will just say that if things did work out it, moving to Poland has been discussed. She has been learning English everyday and obviously is way more intelligent than I in this matter of learning. SHe also makes much more income than I , So I am open to moving more to where she can maintain her success. SHe is the sweetest woman I have ever yet to know and she does not drink vodka. I s that strange?

Love / Polish man dating Russian women [42]

Be a gentleman, open doors for her, buy her flowers, go for long walks together and find out what she is interested in.
I find most women respond well to this so long as it is not over the top.

She does like the long walks. Cooking is my forte as well as the candles and music all very good. The language barrier has actually been beneficial. One can learn much about someone without speaking a single word. And the patience of translating most everything has also shown much to the positive side. Now the question is, can Russian women move easily to Poland ? I would very much like to move from the US to Poland and live there with her?

Love / Polish man dating Russian women [42]

I am going to throw myself into the open here. I am looking for any useful advice when dating Russsian women. I have recently met one in Egypt and we have had a wonderful time together so far. I am not used to the culture there and any advice would be appreciated especially in regards to any past experiences.

News / POLES the BLACKS of EUROPE? [104]

do not see the connection between Poles and Blacks....none whatsoever

When I was growing up the Poles and blacks in the US ,Chicagoland, to be exact did the same hard stinking labor together side by side so they were called polacks short for Polished blacks. And both were treated the same The Germans were especially degrading towards both. Oh, not so fond memories of these times.

Food / Polish Milk, Just not the same [54]

[quote=Sasha]
specific antibodies [/q Not exactly the best choice of words. Rephrasing, I would say it is more genetic programing from breast feeding pre antibiotics developed immunities which have been created over time. Eventually genes have become re- programmed due to the influence of antibiotics introduced into the cows and now genetic immunity is lessened. I have passed my Genetics off to my son who seems to be the same as I in regards to immunity. However, over time I would say this will change with any future off spring. The influence of antiboitics is causing a great affect to genetic immunity. People who still have a strong genetic make up such as from agricultural areas and Countries as Poland with little outside influence where the strongest survive. Thes people need to have more babies and this is a whole another story.

Food / Polish Milk, Just not the same [54]

You seem to mix things up. Salmonella is in a raw meat

Raw milk may harbor a host of disease-causing organisms (pathogens), such as the bacteria campylobacter, escherichia, listeria, salmonella, yersinia, and brucella. Common symptoms of foodborne illness from many of these types of bacteria include diarrhea, stomach cramps, fever, headache, vomiting, and exhaustion.

I don't think I am too mixed up! My dear fellow I was not born in a barn but have a degree in Agriculture.

Why do people in Poland boil milk?

When you get it fresh from the cow and have not grown up drinking it this way,It is important to boil it . It is called pasteurization. Then you can cool it down or anything. I can drink straight from the cow becuse I have the neccesary anttibodies against Salmonella. Most people today do not have this unless they grew up on a farm.

Life / WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING (ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA) IN POLAND? [52]

This has been interesting. I threw this on the forum to get some life out it to say the least. SOme will remember what they are thankful for regardless of where they live in the world. SOme just go on and expect the world to revolve arround them. Some jump to conclusions before knowing, and some have a lack of vision.

Life / WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING (ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA) IN POLAND? [52]

but be sure of one thing all future generations in Europe will remember!

I honestly do not think they will. The Educators will eventually put other events in front and older events will get less emphasis. DId the Brits remember what happened when they ruled Iraq? ANd then they join the US in another effort. Results will be the same!

Life / WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING (ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA) IN POLAND? [52]

Thanksgiving may not be the best as to call it as in its relation to the US holliday. However, Why not a national holliday encompassing all that has been accomplishe d over the years. Not just Independence. I think you will see where I am going here?

Life / WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING (ŚWIĘTO DZIĘKCZYNIENIA) IN POLAND? [52]

They have Polish independence day which they have just celebrated and they have plenty of other celebrations

I am just wondering waht the thought is of having one day to encompass many events. Poland currently has so many individual celebrations Mainly excuse to do much drinking it seems.

who?

That is a more realistic answer than one might think!

Merged: Poland should celebrate Thanksgiving Too!

THe Polish people have much to be thankful for! People forget and need to be reminded. Have people forgotten Hitler and other terrible living conditions and political conflicts as well as the poverty and the working conditions and so on.

Exterminate them. Hunt them down like vermin.

The question is why is this not the case ? Surely it is the answer!
