Food / Any Polish Christmas Recipes? [32]

LOL I heard that too! At my local mall the santa is not allowed to say ho ho ho, and the kids are not allowed to sit on his lap. (He's a PERVERT!)

I don't know what to think of that... people are becoming so sensitive to words. Santa is saying ho as in hello not ho as in hey you *****. Where does this come from lol? There are no prostitures in the north pole!!!

Love / I really like this Polish guy....what to do next?? [76]

aww so cute! I loved the christmas card idea! Good luck on your dinner date - a christmas eve dinner, so romantic. And a bj on the first date? No that is sleazy! It leads to nothing more than a one night stand or a meaningless fing. A simple but sensual kiss will leave him wanting more of you!

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

OMG why didn't I see this post when I was telling my story about that wedding I went to with my friend who has the really really racist family??

I'm copying and pasting... sorry lol!

My friends family hates polish people. Well... they hate everyone one... they are portuguese and hate everyone that isn't.

I went to the wedding of my friends sister (She married a norweigan guy, and the family hates him... go figure) and he told me I should be discreet about my background lol... Not that I flaunt it around or anything! He whispered to me (whispering for the hearing impaired) "My grandmother hates Poles, Russians, and Jews" and upon hearing him she cackled (a toothless old lady cackle) and hit him with her purse. Than gave me the stare of death. (why did I have to sit at the family table??)

It was akward!! A bit like Borat's "The running of the jew" only here it was a little polish girl haha! OMG his family is CRAZY... but I brought a bunch of tales to laugh and gossip about with sane people.

Life / JOKES ABOUT POLISH. Have we deserve it? [68]

Yeah in America, every one has the jokes of poles being stupider than goldfish. I've told people I was polish and have actually gotten remarks like "you don't seem that dumb to me!" Well I'm not... I never knew any dumb polish people lol. Actually, every polish person I know is quite brilliant!! Where does this idea of stupid poles come from? Polish people are smartest people I know, and than Chinese lol (Stereotype, but I think they are smart for different things... in my family people are really genius in music, literature, and linguistics)

Oh and (this is bizarre, and kind of random, but I was reminded so...) but my friends family hates polish people. Well... they hate everyone one... they are portuguese and hate everyone that isn't.

I went to the wedding of my friends sister (She married a norweigan guy, and the family hates him... go figure) and he told me I should be discreet about my background lol... So for some reason this thread made me think about that night and I wanted to share...

Love / Are polish girls generally curvy, tall with nice round butts [74]

I am hoping to date this girl and her parents are polish but she's not.

What is she? Adopted??

Yeah we have j.lo butts. At least all the girsl in my family. And when I go places, I usually check out butts (not to be perverted!! lol) and when I'm in a Polish area, I nottice most girls even super skinny ones do have prominent butts and tony waists and so I figured I'm blessed with the Polish genes!

Love / Gift for Polish girls - question [56]

Get a perfume gift set, they are elegant and have great options. There are nice parfume sampler sets, at like victoria's secret. I work there and know this is a great go-to option for men because it's easy and the label is very recognizable and women are always smelling and loving the parfumes. Or think of the perfume she's like and get a lotion/frangrance gift set.

Also if you can be real casual, go shopping at a department store with parfumes and go through the section and act curious smelling things, she'll usually follow most (most women can't avoid testing the parfumes!) and find a couple she really likes.

Food / Looking for yummy Makowiec [7]

Makowiec/poppy seed loaf was a childhood favorite of mine, I have to go far out to find it in the few polish bakeries I know of... but I haven't had a good one in years. My last few were soo dry gritty and bland and the bread tasted like it was the last stale loaf in the supermarket at 3 am or something.

What makes a good poppy seed loaf?? Shouldn't it be sweet with honey? I'm thinking I want to try and make one myself... if I'm not very kitchen savvy how difficult is it? (scale of 1 - 10!)
