UK, Ireland / Poles in Ireland - integration? [41]
Beata Golczak is the most conceited person I have ever met - she is working in a travel agency - so what? Does it make her any better? And I agree that she probably didn't know where Ireland was herself if she gave such an 'authoritative' opinion about the rest of HER nation...
Unfortunately, I have to deal with this lady on a daily basis - her company provides services to my company, and it so happens she was designated to liaise with us :(
Ten years ago no one in Poland knew where Ireland was but when the economic boom came it was like 'we know where Ireland is and we want to go there'," said Beata Golczak, 26, who arrived in Dublin a year ago and works in a travel agency.
