Ok, I got it and I agree, to a point migrant workers do agree to work for lower wages if those wages translate to earning more than they would earn in their country of origin.

VOIP encryption is client specific, hence depending on your software it might be encrypted or not. Most clients provide some kind of encryption at the transport level. Hence the connection from end point to end point should be fairly secure. However, it wouldn't be secure from any trojans or viruses present on either of the endpoints. Meaning you should trust the person you are talking to.

As far as our broadband phone product goes I am inquiring about this right now and will get back to you shortly.

Has my reply been enough to answer your question or should I further inquire about our broadband phone product?

Before I answer your question can you please specify what you are asking exactly.

There's 3 questions that I can think of coming out of your question:

1.) What priority does voip traffic get on the network
2.) Does our Broadband Phone service support encryption
3.) Can I use a third party encypted VOIP service on your network and if so what priority does voip traffic get on the network

Polish immigrants and others are without doubt dragging pay rates down

That's exactly the point, the immigrants don't make up the pay rates, their employers do. So in fact the employers are paying less. I don't know a single polish person who would rather work for less than for more. In the end everyone wants to be paid the most they can make. Your statement logically doesn't follow through.

I read a similar article in the Telegraph yesterday and it also said mentioned the strain on schools and hospitals and that wages were being driven down by migrant works.

So what it comes down to is that migrant workers work harder, even though they earn less. So instead of giving motivation to current employees of many establishments, the employees of those establishments find it easier to complain...

UK, Ireland / UK Internet in Polish [9]

I work for a company called PlusNet - we provide Internet service to the whole of Great Britain. During the summer we introduced a Polish service (Polish signup process and Polish support!).

I'd invite every interested person to visit our site on: plus.net/pl

Otherwise you can give me a call on 0845 140 4854 and ask about our offer.

Hope to hear from you soon!

In fact if you have any questions about the Internet, you can post them on here. I'll be on hand to answer them for you.

Oh yeah, I'll be on the phones in 2.5 hours.

I can see that there's a new Polish radio station in London, however does anyone know what channel it's on?

As for 'taking our jobs' - If the Polish people didn't have any pride and didn't work for what they want in life, they would be berated for 'living off the state' - keep working I say and keep the bigots and narrow minded fools out of a job.

I completely agree with this. I have seen the amounts of people who are actually better off sitting around doing nothing and living off the state. The polish population (in the most part) actually comes over here to honestly work and earn a little bit of money. We work hard, we pay taxes (again for the most part) and we are honest people trying to make a life for ourselves.

As much as I may have "taken" someone's job, in this job I pay taxes which pays for the large percentage of people on benefits. Either way, things work out to be fair. By working here the Poles put money into the British economy and at the end of the day everyone benefits!

UK, Ireland / for polish people in uk-do u find it easy to live in this country? [19]

I've just moved to the UK and I'm finding it quite alright. It is really quite similar to Poland in many ways, but then again isn't all of Europe somewhat similar? Fortunately enough the language is not a problem for me hence I did not have any problems finding a job. How is everyone else finding it here?
