Life / Why is Poland so slow; it takes a lot of time to arrange anything here [53]
Just wondering why everything is SO SLOW in poland working here just outside poznan and it took 3 weeks to get a phone line still waiting for the internet after 5 weeks car been in garage 3 weeks even the shop workers are a joke most times.People in general are really nice just always get the answer maybe tomorrow why?????

Work / English teacher near to poznan [6]
Looking to relocate early january 2008 with the kids want to home educate the children for the first 12 months then once they have grasped the language possilbly place them in the main stream polish school system.Was wondering is there any one out there who knows of anyone who has very good english and polish to look after the kids whilst we are both at work during the day who might be interested in the position Also anyone know what kind of wages they would be on would help also cheers

Hi there im off to sroda wielkolpolska real soon it's just south of poznan.
Was just thinking is it really worth me taking my laptop with me as i will be living there for six months or so.Any help regarding what the isp's broadband wireless etc are like over there would be great

Moving to poznan really soon as a family just wondering do you have all mod cons etc the kids want to take there playstation, nintendo wii ,and all there other games consoles will they work in poznan as england all the electrical stuff works off a 3 pin plug any help would be great thanks
