Look it's easy for me to sit here and say this but...
There is NO, i'll say that again, in case you missed it, NO excuse for violence. FULL STOP. If this was a friend telling you the story, how would you react?
Just because you love him, doesn't make it right. No matter what else he's done, however nice he's been, that is wrong and you don't deserve it.

Obvoiusly it's your decision, but if it were me I'd be at minimum on the next bus/plane/train outta there.
Bottom line. Anyone who resorts to violence is a weak person, anyone who hits women, is a scumbag. Sorry if i sound harsh, but that's perhaps the only thing I get worked up about in this life. That and sunday drivers. :)
at first i thought he was trying to suffocate me, but he just put the pillow over my head and punched, 3rd time was the hardest. i was so shocked i cried, and then he hugged me saying sorry.
