If the part Goliath you are talking about is the Tracks embeded in a wall in the old town that was actually used during the suppresion of the Warsaw Uprising (1staug-2oct 44) by german forces.

yes, that is the one i'm talking about. but i ment, is there a spesific resone why it is there? was a building destroyed by it neer by? the catedral that is neer, maybe?

hello. i know there is a part of a goliath german tank neer the old city in warsa. can anyone tell me what is the story? i know it is a tank full of t.n.t. that the germans use with a remote-controll, but where and when?

i can really use your help in finding this book: niezatarte slady "getta warszawskiego". it is imposiable to find it in regular stores, because it was printed 0nly once and got sold out. are there any second hand polish books stores online? maybe it can be fond in second hand shops in poland. i will be very gratefull! thanks

History / need help to find a song that will transfer the 1794 uprising spirit [3]

Hello everyone.
I'm an Israeli student who needs to give a lecture about Tadeusz Kosciuszko and the 1794 uprising. I already found allot of data and info about him, but now I'm looking for things that will make my lecture more vivid. I would be happy if you can give my an example of a song (with music and an up tempo, like a military marching song) that demonstrates the spirit of that era.

1. is Emilia Platter a polish hero (the poem says she is from Lithuania). i know the two countries were united at that time, but is Emilia Platter considered today to be a polish hero?

2. are there any poems about the 1864 January uprising?

1. about the wikipedia site: i allready saw it. what i'm looking for is famous texts about these events. like literature texts writen about it (poems, speechs made by the rebels etc). a text that will symbolize the uprisings.

2. i didn't understand what's the conection to david ben-gurion's speech.

i'm an israeli student. i need to prepare a 15 minutes guidance about these events, and it is hard to find that kind of materials here. i'm looking for materials that will make my lecture more vivid.
