Food / Polish Fire Vodka [7]

it is actually served warm . . . see honey boils at a temp where alcohol evaporates.

first, the spicy, sweet aroma opens your nose and sinuses, then as you bring it close to your nose, the alcohol evaporates and goes through the roof of your mouth and straight to your brain.

it's a real nice way to warm up when your are soaked to the bone and have been out in the cold

It is a great way to make the entire room passed out in their chairs in like 10 minutes . . . .most people don't ever finish a 1/4 cup in a juice glass.

my yeast & easter breads are awesome too. I would so much rather have a restaurant than be an engineer *sigh*

PolishBlond, your dad might appreciate this one, it is a little heartier than the duck blood soup crew, but it is sweet and spicy.

Life / Smingus-Dyngus - Polish tradition [155]

FRom my understanding, dyngus day, the people who got hit with the water were the uncles who got too drunk on the easter vodka the day before.

The boys offered PUzzywillows to the betrothed, as there were no engagements or wedding during spring.

Love / Dating/friends sites to find Polish girls [44]

It's nice to hear that you're trying to meet a Polish girl (we must be special :-) ) But tell me please why does it hace to be a Polish girl? I fi Looked for a guy, I would just look for the one the special one but I wouldn't care hwre he's from.

if you are like me, you are american, but your ancestors came from Poland in the 1800s.

Not everyone knows about polish history. Each ethnicity can have different types of values based on their culture and traditions.

Some people like Easter and polkas, Some people don't even know what they are.

These and other traditions have deep rooted memories which fill me with love and joy for my dearly departed.

If I were to find a mate for life, odds are, she'd be my polish wife.

maybe some cultures have different standards.

hussaria. no joke. God bless the Pope - not everyone knows what these things mean.

fewer still, care about heros, love and honor.
