yes it's true. also the picth of voice, the type of voice and dialects and what is being spoken. i love watching portugese matches for example...the comments sound more exciting than brazilian films....i don't understand anything and i guess it's easier to judge a language whether it's nice to listen to it when you don't know the language. French is well-know as beautiful language but to be honest i can't judge it:D

by the way, do Poland have many dialects?

i think you have never been to other countries. countries of Eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine) ,Hungary and Czech Republic seem to have manyyyy more prostitutes.in Prague i saw them everywhere.

i don't know maybe it depends on the city as well but in Szczecin i saw none.
i will walk around Krakow to check it.

i wanted to have some contact with Polish language so i thought i could listen to some Polish music.

i found in the web radio Eska but the music there is crap. and what's interesting during 2 hours i haven't heard even one Polish sing:/ i could find some Polish songs on youtube but i wouldn't like to come up to my computer every 3 minutes.

can you suggest some good radio with Polish music?

i work with Polish people and they don't seem to view themselves superior to anyone else. i'd even say they often underestimate themselves. but yes they are proud people they like to highlight their bravery in history.

i agree with everybody who says that German sounds harsh. compare it to Italian, Spanish, or even English.i think they are easier to listen

as for Scandinavian languages- i can't explain it, i just don't like. i know some Danish people and often heard them speaking to each other. then Swedish and Norwegian sound much better when they are sung rather than spoken but maybe it's just because there're lots of good singers
