No, they're not in any way endangered. There's actually too many of them, the Australian Army had to go and cull about 40,000 of them because they were damaging the eco system, they're that plentiful. Kangaroo meat is common in aussie shops.
I'm pretty sure I've seen burrito ingredients in Smaki Swiata in Galeria Krakowska and also Alma. As for kangaroo meat - best to order it through the web and they deliver it deep frozen, not fresh. Try - or google "mięso kangurze". It's not cheap though...

The reason I'm after kangaroo meat is that some other foreigners who were doing classes with me suggested a 'foods of the world' thing where we each cook something from our country. I'm not looking forward to the British guys cooking :)
