I know this issue has been talked about to death, and I don't want to beat a dead horse, so I'll try to add a new twist to it.

I'm a single black American living in Germany. I work on a military base on the east coast, but I'm not in the military. I'm what you call a contractor. Anywho, I'm curious about dating Polish girls in Poland. Does race play any negative factor in dating in Poland? Will I get flat out refused because I'm black? That goes for chatting a girl up in the supermarket or at the club. Wherever.

With the election of a black president in the states, do Polish girls look at black Americans, and black guys in general more positive? I know in Germany, in some places, it's hard for some girls to wrap their minds around the fact that I'm black BUT I'm American and share a lot of the same cultural values as them. Are Polish girls like this?

Sorry for the loaded questions. Just came across this board and you guys seem to know what you're talking about. I'll be seeing for myself in a few weeks. From what I'm reading it looks like Wroclaw is the place to start.
