Genealogy / Anyone Else 1/2 Polish??? [58]

I am half Polish (Dabek and army) and half Dutch (from Breda liberation )and born in a Polish army hospital in the uk

and am just about to start the difficult struggle of finding the bit in my heart that is missing

I was born and bred in the uk and so were my 6 siblings. My father was a displaced Polish soldier, who fought very hard to keep Britain free. He was not able to return to Poland after the war and so he started a small business. All 7 of us grew up to gain professional qualifications and obtained highly respected work. We all worked hard and especially my dad. We have all married English people and have added our hard working and clever Polish/Dutch genes to the gene pool. Oh yes my dad married a Dutch lady.

We would often be in our terraced house listening to the lazy, drunken men from England and we lived in the centre of benefit land
