Genealogy / Looking for Kustowski [5]
I have pretty much located everyone on my mother's side, but my father's side remains a mystery.
His name was Alexander Kustowski, he and his brother Stanley came over from Danzig together.
I have never been able to find any record of him on a ship or any record of a Kustowski family in Poland.
I know nothing about my paternal grandparents, he would never talk about them and that has always bothered me, like maybe something terrible happened and he didn't want to talk about it.

Genealogy / Dominowski Mystery [10]

I don't know if this helps or not, but, my great grandmother was Anna Domin, I am assuming that is the shortened version of Dominowski.
She was married to a Guziak, and lived in Harta, Poland, from what my aunt tells me, she had a bakery there.
My grandmother Marya Guziak and her sister Teresa, came to America together and settled in NYC.
