Like you with spelling and grammar. You are traitor to the Irish people. You are a disgrace to every Irishman that has ever lived and those yet to be born.

Selling out your people for a bit of foreign muff.

Mass Immigration from eastern europe started in 2005. The Celtic Tiger started in 1996. To link the two is absurd. The Poles came because of the boom, they had no involvement in creating it.

Repatriate those who do not swear allegiance to the Irish state. Ireland for the Irish, not for London, Brussels, or Rome.

A Republic built by the people for the people.

Indeed, not for eastern europeans or 3rd worlders. Ireland for the Irish.

Many Mexicans are just returning to their ancestors land. Many could argue that they are indegenous, unlike yourself. ;)

When the current wave upon wave of Polish immigration ends and the majority go home, then and only then, will I be happy with immigration from Eastern Europe.

It benefits nobody but big businesses, builders, and slum landlords. The Irish people pay the massive social costs while the rich make the profits. It cannot continue.

I do not know. The numbers are all over the place. Children do not need PPS numbers, either do students. Your guess on the number of Poles here is as good as mine.

63,000? - From the census
170,000? -From the Polish embassy
200,000? -From the Minister of Integration
500,000? -From Polish media in Dublin.

It is a ridiculous situation.

PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2009-11,007
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2008-42,554
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2007-79,816
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2006-93,787
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2006-64,731
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2005-27,295
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2004- 3,828
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2003- 2,649
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2002- 2,259
PPS numbers issued to Poles in 2001- 570
Issued before 2001 - 9,564

That leaves us with 338,060 Poles issued with PPS numbers in Ireland. Now this does not take into account the number of Polish children in Ireland, stay at home partners, those working in the black market, parents or grandparents coming over to mind children, younger relatives etc etc.

My concern is about the number of Poles settling here. The definition of a plantation is as follows,An original settlement in a new country; a colony. That is what the Poles are doing in Ireland. The numbers speak for themselves.

Importing up to 500,000 Poles, the majority of whom have no interest in Ireland or no interest in integrating with the Irish people is a plantation.

It is moving one nationality into a country with the sole aim of setting up their own Polish areas, shops, social centres, and syphoning as much money as they can from the Irish state back to Poland or among their fellow Polish nationals.

They stand for themselves. 1.5 billion sent home per annum. Over 125 million euro spent teaching foreign children English. 50,000 Poles claiming 204 euro a week dole. Over 3,000 Polish families claiming rent allowance(900 euro poer month). 30 million euro sent home to Poland as child allowance for children not even resident in the state. Add to all this that anyone under 25,000 euro per annum( the majority of Polish immigrants) do not pay a cent in PAYE tax and only a couple of euro in PRSI.

They are a burden on the state.

You studied business, well done. You have a Polish girlfirend, I wish you all the best.

The numbers immigrating here are unsustainable, the Polish community claim that there are up to 500,000 Poles here. It is an invasion. That is the equivalent of every Irish national in Ireland emigrating to Poland.

The government is finished, once a general election is called, they will be gone. We will have to rectify many of their mistakes. The first one on the list should be eastern europeans having free access to our labour market. It can be done by a stroke of a pen in Brussels.

Anybody can be deported from Ireland if they have no means to support themselves and a burden on the state or are involved in crime. Many Roma gypsies are deported back to Romania from Ireland, a fellow EU state.

I find it strange that a Pole is lecturing me about my governments rules and regulations, tell that to the Poles who immigrate here they all claim they left because of their government. Tell them to stay and change the government and to improve their own native land.

They are not needed or wanted in the Irish nation.

So they should be repatriated. They are guest workers, they got paid. They become unemployed they should be sent back home. Its where charity begins.

The elephant in the room is that the large anti-Lisbon vote last year in Irish workingclass areas may well have been influenced by immigration, but such are the limitations imposed by our tsars of political correctness that the possibility may not even be publicly aired. Indeed, ask any question at all about the wider implications of immigration and the Pavlovian response is an accusation of racism.

Does she earn more than 25,000 euro a year? If not shes pays no PAYE and a couple of euro in PRSI.

I repeat, 38% of the population pay no PAYE. Most of these would be foreigners working for low rates of pay.

I think you know, nowt.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong! Now, take in to account that 38% of workers in Ireland pay no P.A.Y.E. tax. That includes a proportion of the Irish population but mostly foreigners, it must be acknowledged. Not only that, but when one factors in Children Allowance [not to mention Medical Card, Council House, Unemployment Benefit/Assistance etc. etc. ], an even greater proportion of the immigrant population are effective net beneficiaries of public largess. Which means middle-to-high income earners. Who pays?

50,000(204 euro a week plus other assorted benefits) Poles on the dole here. 3,000 Polish families claiming rent allowance.

The Poles, as an ethnic group, are a burden on the Irish state.

It does not break down prisoners by nationality. Knife crime is rife among the Polish community, every couple of weeks Poles murder Poles after a house party at the weekend.

Poles are our biggest ethnic group on welfare, again it does not break down fraud by nationality. Lets just say that a lot of the Poles emigrating here are not your average decent Pole you may find in Poland.

As Americans think being Irish is trendy. Saint Patricks day and all that. The most recent American census was done near the end of March. A week or so after Saint Patricks day.

American are walking maths equations. They claim to be 1/8 Irish, 1/16 French and all other sorts of nonsense.

It will be a sad day for Ireland when our population resorts to the same.

From the early 1800's to the beginning of World War II, approximately 5 million Polish immigrants came to the United States. The Poles fled their country for various reasons. Some emigrants left to escape conscription, others left to seek better opportunities in America, and some fled from religious persecution.

nhs.needham.k12.ma.us/cur/kane98/kane_p3_immig/Poland/Polish.html

An investigation carried out in 1978 revealled that since 1820 over 4,723,000 people emigrated to the United States from Ireland.

What does that have to with anything? Did the native Americans benefit from mass immigration to their country? No they did not.

Ireland is an idigenous country with our own unique culture and traditions. America is a mish mash of nations and one hundred and fifty times larger than Ireland so of course it can absorb much more immigrants. You are not comparing like with like.

Also, more Polish have emigrated to America over the centuries than Irish people. I am sick to death of Poles using this as an excuse for their presence in my country. "But you Irish went to America". Yes we did as we where being ethnically cleansed by "famine". Is there a famine in Poland? When my ancestors were eating grass and Poland was one of the wealtiest nations at the time, what did your ancestors do to help. Fooook all.

I believe we should pay back that compliment by returning the favour. We owe Poles nothing. Do not believe media lies, we are not "friends". The Irish people have always oppossed foreign plantations. This shall be no different.

You should find a party or build one with program you deem right and then test it - election.
You on the other hand come to PF claiming that immigration of Poles is a plantation - which is nonsense- and then blame Poles for going to Ireland, another nonsense.

Already done.

I blame the government, they will be removed from power and resigned to history after the next general election. I am not worried about them anymore.

Next we need to remove the eastern europeans as they are our largest minority and are becoming a burden on the state. The majority of whom are staying in Ireland and many are going on the dole. Yet, 11,000 more came in the first five months of this year alone. Probably ten times more than the whole Irish population of Poland!

Torq

The Polish community of Ireland and indeed the Polish embassy claims there are up to 500,000 Poles here. There is no way the 3rd worlders make up such numbers. Stop lying.

You may laugh your ass all you want, the fact is the Irish people are now viewing the Polish planters as enemies. They had to fight against them for employement in the past, now they have to fight against them again to get a share of the social welfare.

Ireland for the Irish!
