Travel / Getting from Wroclaw to Krakow [15]

Hi

Apologies if this ? has already been answered.

Basically I'm planning between 5 - 7 days in Poland next month and plan to go back to Krakow again (which I visited 5 years ago) and am thinking of also visiting Wroclaw.

Firstly do you think the 3.5 hour journey is worth it? Also how long would you generally stay in Wroclaw for? Is it the type of place that you see in half a day?

And last but not least is it easy to get a train from Wroclaw to Krakow (or vice versa) considering that I am a female travelling on my own with zero knowledge of Polish. Should I be asking for first class or not necessarily, how many trains go every day and will it be difficult to make myself understood at the station?
