Study / TEFL Test Centers and TEFL blogs in Poland [7]

Merged: Tefl blogs- between lesson reading

All of you who teach or are interested in teaching Engliah in Poland, do you know of any good TEFL teacher blogs? I mean really good?

I only know of two, I'm sure there are more but I'm lazy and want suggestions of entertaing between lesson reading!

Cheers!

doyouspeakpolish.blogspot
englishteacherx.blogspot

Some other blogs I have found,

peacenikhurler.blogspot

and

teflblacklist.blogspot

The latter hasn't been updated for a while but rumour has it it's gonna spring back into life!
But it is still good for the heads up on dodgy schools.

Travel / Sobotka to Walbrzych...Best route by bus? [3]

I need to travel from sobotka to walbrzych next week and I thought the easiest route would be bus to Wroclaw and train to Walbrzych?

Is there an easier route anybody is aware of? maybe via swidnica?

Life / Looking forward to move to Poland in September, but I have some questions. [12]

Thanks for the advice everyone, definitely a good idea about the adapter cable.

I have managed to get rid of a large majority of my possesions in anticipation to my move and I cant believe how much C**P I own(ed)!!

I was thinking of doing one run in the car to poland in july and then selling my car in the U.K. before buying a car in poland? If I go in july it gives me chance to sort my flat out etc...

Life / Looking forward to move to Poland in September, but I have some questions. [12]

After months of moaning about my job here in the U.K. I have finally handed my notice in at work and I will be moving to Wroclaw in the first week of september!,

My wife is Polish so I guess I will have to take her along! I am looking to get a job as a teacher, I am doing some part time teaching for English as a second language students here in the U.K. and I have a few job interviews lined up in June so the employment issue seems to be sorting itself out!

Just one thing concerns me, I'm not sure of how many of my electrical appliances I should take from the U.K. or how I should move them?

I was thinking of just doing one car trip with my stereo, games console, coffee machine etc..

Is this the best way? Any advice?
