What do Polish people think about Americans living in Poland? [48]
hello The\
kruk. I have been living in Europe for about 10 years and it has on many occasions been a humbling experience. I have recently moved to poland but have been around many mainly Polish people in Ireland and England in that time. I found more prejudice from the natives of those countries than any other place in the world and i have been in over 40 countries. Poland is just like anywhere. They can be intrigued by social diferences and disgusted as well we can be. It's just difference in culture and tradition. If you ever make someone angry here they will pick the first thing you have least in common and that is nationality and that folks is human nature. The skinny kid and the fat kid, my daddy is bigger than your daddy. I suppose somewhere it is some form of genetically engrained defense mechanism. And The political discussions that are preimtive to any friendship here are another instinct equivalent sniffing each others ass to see if we like what we smell. The others that have no intention of becoming a friend or otherwise are just genuinely interested in what you have to say or hear the american views directly from the horses mouth.. In any situation in any country you can always find someone who does not like you just because of where you are from. Simply Ignorance.
I have just moved to Slawa in Poland. Any advice on Job hunting. I understand a great deal of the language but do not speak as much but I am learning.
James, TYPICAL PONCY ENGLISHMAN,
believe me being an american that lived in london and saw the majority of the youth there as hooligans and uncivalised i would have to say your anti americanism is more deeply rooted. did you have an american girlfriend whom got tired of the smell of your tipple or your gXy moggy hair all over the place. If the English language belongs solely to the british then all of you might consider staying in Britian and we'd be more than happy to give it back, and if you are living in Poland I cannot begin to think of how you are received after the s++++y way The english and Irish treat the polkish immigrants in their endeavors to work there. oh and i did compare england and ireland to being the same place though you like to think it is seperate. And I do spell england with a lower case e for a reason.
back to your tipple ol' boy
