Does anyone know of a Cable TV/Internet service in Tri-Cities area? I would like to rent there for only 4 months, cable is available but the cable companies all seem to want 12 month contracts.

Law / Do non-eu residents residing in Poland require Polish driving license? [20]
I have been driving around Poland for a number of years now and I have never had any issues with my American license.
Unlike some others I could mention:
I have never been stopped so they do not yet know that I have no EU lic.
Of course, if they ever stop me, I will pretend to be an ignorant tourist (which is easy for me since I am an American) and I am sure they will let me go.

Ive been pulled by the Police in Poland twice and never had a problem.
Now the Germans and Austrians on the other hand are fcuking bastards, theyve had 180 Euros out of me over the past 4 months.

Life / Polish city streets - why do trucks go around spraying water on them ? [28]
It is to keep them from drying out and turning back into the dust from which they were made. I know that sounds a bit biblical but it is true.
All countries with the means to do so keep their streets moistened.
Sometime, look at streets in the desert and you will see what I am talking about.

Don't worry, just walk around with a pork roast under your arm and no one will bother you!
First, with the pork, no one will think you are Muslim.
Second, if you're not Muslim, you must be Mexican and might have swine flu so they will avoid you.
Third, with your own pork, they'll think you are spreading Swine Flu and everyone will run away from you.
Or you can just enjoy a wonderful, European country. Don't worry, be happy!
