UK, Ireland / 800K of Polish immigrants in UK don't pay taxes -what do the poles think [190]
i think you will find they probably dont pay taxes.as the owner of a small construction company i have employed eight poles over the last three to four years.at first i had alot of respect for these guys as they worked hard, they were payed the same wages as my other workers, they were taking home £350 per week for 40 hrs. i bought some of them a car so they could get around, i loaned them money and done anything i could to help them out. :silly me: seven out of eight of these men have since tried to make false claims of my insurance. calling siptu making false allegations. one pole had started
and i could not get his national insurance number of him, when i asked for it the second
week he told me that he was receiving benefit and he would have to get both it and his wages, he was living with his girlfreind and child and was receiving £460 in benfits. a bit much for me to stomach as a tax payer.
in the last number of weeks i have been talking
to alot of other firms with the same problem, alot of polish are trying to make false claims of their employers its seen as easy money but employers are seeing them as liabilitys and are offloading them.
to all poles i say slan leat
