UK, Ireland / going to uk to look for a cad job - are there any left? [21]

i am planning to be in the uk for good. my experience in cad (8yrs) is mainly on the engineering design services of commercial and residential buildings (mostly MEP with archi.).

i just hope someone will be willing to look at my resume and understand what is written. i have had a bad experience with a recruiter mistakenly sending me to a company that utilises cad for car parts.

thank you again for your replies. i will be trying my luck in the uk anyways. i remembered when i tried my luck in the US when the economy was down (2001) and got one. i guess i have to risk again.

thanks all for the info. i applied last year and got few response. all requested that i contact them when i get to uk and that they won't be able to assist me if i am still in poland. however, that was last year before this sh_t crushed uk's economy. uk is going to host the next summer olympics and my experience would be beneficial should i find a company. thank you again.

i would like to get info from poles living in uk if there are still jobs to be found. i am doing cad and not thinking of doing manual labor. i searched the net and found that there's a considerable amount of cad job vacancies but don't know if they were true? do they priorities british people over eu?

thanks

Life / Church manners in poland [30]

i know for a fact that they should remove hats. but i was raised in the philippines and the priest did not say that it is disrespectful. there are some differences in how catholic church teach their religion. just like we are allowed to eat meat on christmas day and i found out that in poland they do not. i am asking because i want to make sure i don't disrespect polish. just today at 12pm we went to church and i saw polish people wearing their winter caps. it doesn't bother me at all because i believe they don't mean to disrespect, i'd rather think that they are just keeping their head hot as i am trying to keep my hands hot too.

i will google rules of etiquette for that matter.

thanks

different culture wroclaw. if you can not give me any reason behind it and just assume that it is disrespectful then i would assume that you have been educated thru what you see and not thru reasoning. no offense ... but other catholic countries doesn't say that it is disrespectful. that is why i am trying to find out why? and not just be an ignorant man following others just because they said so.

i've seen them and they are attending a mass. plunging neckline that shows skin. i'm just wondering why is it disrespectful? any ideas why? i have searched online on how catholics should act whilst inside the church and it does not mention anything about having your both hands in your pocket to be disrespectful.
