I am Vijay from India married to Polish girl... hmm your question is really relavent.. i will give you all the process you need to follow to get married in India.
First Papers you need :-
1) Valid Visa for India (issued for 6 months with multiple entry from Indian embassy in warsaw).
2) 6 passport size photos.
3) Your Father or Mother Passport copy who will sign as a witness on marriage document.
4) Your Income tax copies from last year (that there is no financial obligation pending on you towards the polish govt.)
5) Copy of your national Id card make it 6 copies
After this you have to go to India and apply for marriage in the local office of that city... then they will ask you to be present in front of the DC (deputy commissioner) and sign the attendance letter in front of him.. then they will put public notice in the office for one month that if anybody has any objection in you marriage please lodge the protest with valid reason and also you have to give public notice in the 2 newspapers (one in English and one in Hindi)....
Then after one month you will again go to the DC's office to register your marriage... Your Marriage will be registered under "Special Marriage Act 1954" and you will get the marriage certificate on the same day...
