It doesn't grace it. It means absolutely nothing. Sprinkling water on a child's head doesn't interfere with anything. It's just wetting its head. It doesn't make the kid better in any way than 70% of unbaptized Earth's population.


Years of catholic education I didn't ask for.


Indeed. No one forces me to be a catholic. At least not anymore, now its only a pressure.


Have you ever heard a rumble in a catholic home (especially at the rural environment) just after one kid admited its parents that it had a different outlook on life?

I am respectful to people but not necessarily to their ideas. Religion fanatics are disrespectful to both.

It's not our tradition! It's a tradition of the monotheistic intruders who imposed their superstitions upon my ancestors over a millenium ago. Haven't you ever heard of Pagan Uprising in Poland after it had been officially converted to christianity?

Hopefully that thing you called tradition is fading away and we will be an eye witnesses of a big demise of the Polish catholic church (unfortunately we'll be too old to fully celebrate it). It's not a tradition it's a malignant tumor devouring and deteriorating us from the inside. A grasping bunch of catholic clergy ready to renounce their nationality for the sake of their needs and for the sake of foreign god! Svetovid, Svarog, Jarowit, and many others - that is the Real Tradition originated on the Slavic Soil and butchered by a christian savagery!
