Life / Is Poland cold? [40]

When its cold, there is an easy solution to that, either have some vodka with friends and warm up or cuddle up with a close one.

Life / Do Polish women have problem with computer technology? [11]

ahahhahahaha persoanlly i think that some (not only Polish) women do have more trouble using the computer, becuase they have better things to do then stay online all day. Me, I most enjoy games like World of Warcraft and soon to be out Warhammer which im plying the bata now for that. AWSOME!

I agree Greg. Its going to be hard to get use to the pay, which $700 a month is really nothing, I wanted to maby see if i can get a teacing certificate and teach english, in school or something. I dont know im getting excited and scared at the same time, but we are US citizens, so if we cant adjust to living in Poland we can go back to the US, or go somewhere else in Europe. I have some friends in Ireland, Greece and UK, i heard that UK isnt that bad. I dont know, the only thing that is helping us out is the fact that we will have a home with my parents and that we are in process of purchasing a home here so when its time to leave we can sell and bring the proceeds from that sale with us. Starting next month i told my hubby that there will be NO MORE spending money on dumb things, that right now its all about saving so we can bring cash with us, in case the job search goes slow.

we decided to go next year for 3 weeks, i am positive about moving but i want him to see poland. I dont want him to come to my country and hate me for it. you see with US, yes the pay is better but you also work like a dog and have no time for anything (its a rat race) i found that in poland even with some people not having the best jobs, they somehow enjoy life. My parents will be moving there within 5 years and building their home, so they said they will build it big enough for us to live with them. So that will make it a little easier. And also i think children grow up diffrently over there, i dont like the school system here and kids really dont get the BIG point. Its not about what material things you have in life, its about family and friends and enjoying every day when you wake up.

Life / "K*rwa"-why do young Poles find this word so cool ? [67]

hahahahah, Yes i do agree the polish boys say it A LOT!!! Ummmm its just something that an idividual doing it, should notice that it kind of sounds bad and maybe he or she can work on not saying it as much. The problem is, that so many people do it and so many people are use to it that to them its not a big deal. Me personally, when i hear my friends or family say it too much i kind of tell them to relax. I dont like bad words (only when necessary). Looks bad

Well we can go to Italy but my husbands family isnt the best, and they never liked me because i was Polish, so i dont know if its that good of an idea to move somewhere where im not gonna be accepted. I know that my family in poland and the people in poland will NOT treat my husband any diffrent because of his race. I want to start in Jelenia Gora, because i have a place to live and maby evantually move to the bigger city. I just have an Associates. and i have been with a law firm for 5 years running the office and making sure all the cases get done. My hubby is a mechanic for the state of connecticut. Im just not happy here at all, i never got used to the people and the way people live. I just want to get as much information as i can about this move, last night i told my hubby that we are young and that we should take this oppurtunity and if he loved me as much as he says he does, he will consider it. I dont know im really confused. its a big step

Work / Moving to Jelenia Gora region - need advice about finding a job. [11]

Hi i am 100% polish and i have been living in US for 16 years, i have married an Italian man and had a son, the life here in the US im really not feeling that much, my son wont have the childhood that i had and it breaks my heart to see that. Recently i have been wanting to pay all the bills and move back to Poland for good. My question is how hard would be for me to find a job so i can support my family for some time and get us on our feet. I dont want to go there and not have a job. and disappoint my hubby with the decision i made. I would be moving around Jelenia Gora.
