Life / What is there to do in Warsaw?? [37]

Hi Laura,

How long will you have in Warsaw? I've been there many times and will be there again this weekend. If you have a short time, I would make sure you get a chance to see Old Town. Also, check out the Uprising museum (1944.pl/index.php?lang=en), the Palace of Cultural Science (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Culture_and_Science), and the Ghetto (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Ghetto).

It's a lot of walking, but it can be done and is well worth it.

Thanks everyone. I truly appreciate your help. Would any of you recommend a trip to Gdansk or any other day trips?

Travel / The best way to get around Warsaw? [7]

Hi everyone,

I'm traveling to Warsaw next week and would like to know what is the best way to get around town. I've been there before and have used the tram to go to the mall. However, I would really like to find a route map and a schedule, so that I could plan a little itinerary. I have done the city tour, been to Krakow and Auschwitz, and would be interested in seeing something that is history related. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
