Life / Cost of stuff (phone, internet, cable) in Poland [5]

Merged: Mobile Telephony and Internet Connection cost in Poland

Can you tell me how much will I spend if I get a postpaid mobile line with broadband internet access ? Because this way I dont need to have a landline and an extra cost of internet access... I am having both in one equipment. If I need to use internet in my notebook, I`ll just plug it with an USB cable and things are just the same and cheaper... Any tips of how that can cost ? Thanks again folks.

Hi there....I am an Englishman living in Poland...if there is anything i can help you with just ask....I have been living here a few years now , so can tell you all about the good the bad and the ugly....I have no intention of returning to the UK , so i guess that tells you i don,t regret moving here....

wildrover,
well if things get done by my side, certainly I'd like to exchange more words with you. I don't want to rush things and then get frustrated. If I get my work visa soon I'll count on your expertise! Thanks for standing your hand for me!! (but tell me one thing though, is it too chocking to learn everything new? language, culture, people, food.... ?)

Life / Studying the possibilities of living in Poland.. [34]

Hey everyone.
I am studying the possibilities of living in Poland.
As everyone knows, we have know everything about the country before we accept this new idea. I've researching the web, but still I have no answers to some questions... Anyway, would anyone help me, preferably someone that has passed through the same things...

- is food cheap or expensive? breakfast, lunch, meal and dinner (how much $?
- clothing, for the cold climate - cheap? how cold is it?
- transportation - international license ? renting car or buying? in krakow, is everything far or close (e.g. supermarket, bakery, fastfoods, malls)
- bank account (howtos)
- social security number (howtos)
- general expenses like entertainment (what is there to do?)
- rental ?
Well... Help me out.>!
