UK, Ireland / Negative attitude towards Polish immigration in UK becoming stronger [90]
I lhave lived in Blackpool all my life and there has always been a polish community in Blackpool, since the 1940s.Poles in blackpool are a well respected minority in the town and welcolmed by most sand grown people. There are bound to be tensions between the indiginous population and new incoming poles and other immigrants in a period of econonomic turmoil and disruption caused by greedy capitalists, mostly on the other side of the world.lets not forget our worker solidarity when criticising ethnic groups,an unemplyed pole is probably just as unhappy as an unemployed blackpuddlian.i have been toPoland and was welcomed with open arms.Maybe more polish businesses opning in blackpool would breathe some much needed life into our struggling town!
