Language / (part 2) Polish Language Pronunciation - Sample Words and Phrases [311]

Merged: Wejście/Wyjście "Entrance" and "Exit" pronunciations

"Entrance" and "Exit" is "Wejście" and "Wyjście" in Polish. I've noticed the only difference in spelling is the second letter -- "e" vs "y". Can someone phonetically call out the proper pronunciation of the two?

Is it like VEYS-che and VIS-che?

UK, Ireland / Registering a Polish car in UK..? [13]

Thanks! Oh, and thanks for merging this thread. I did the search function and didn't come up with the topic on top.

I'll look into DVLA.

UK, Ireland / Registering a Polish car in UK..? [13]

Thread attached on merging:
Registering a car from Poland in the UK

I'm helping a friend find more information about registering a car in the UK. (Actually, the car is from the U.S., shipped to Poland, registered in Poland, and now he's moving to the UK.)

1. What office does he have to visit (or website and download a form) to fill up and submit to register?
2. What type of insurance is required?
3. He plans to move in the South Tottenham area. What parking registration or permit is required, if necessary?

Any help is appreciated. Dziękuje!
