How is Poland in "russian hands"?

Why europe fear Russia, it is not about their still hopeless army (I don't know if they could beat Ukraine) but they have already used gas to make preasure on Czechs and sugested that sanctions on them can cause problems for whole europe. Russia is problem and our politicians should discusse it again ! I strongly believe that this project should be discussed once again. Our PM is opened on discussion and has made several positive gestures ... and what ? .

We central european citizens should secure our interests and but products from honest EU countries

This pipe line is not in BUSINESS OF ANNY CENTRAL EUROPEAN COUNTRY.

False! You GOT several possibilites offered to take part, YOU rejected!

The way it sounds from the polish site you like to use the pipeline as a kind of hostage against the Russians AND the Germans!

I don't know if after discussion about paganism we should go into details. I think that Germany and Poland should start to think in common eu interests because it will be good for both. If you build this pipe line as it is planed. Poland will be in russian hands and it is not in long term german interest. However Tusk has done a lot to find solution and there was no answers. we will se what is going to happen now because russia officialy has changed. and czechs had problems with gas (shortly but it is fact that russians used it as political tool of persfasion)

Czechs were cuted last time... our rafinery in Lithuania has problems with supplies and we must buy it from Arabs.

Anny way, we need serious discussion about Nord Stream. It is our national seciurity. We have send several proposals and they were rejected.

I agree that Nord Stream is against our national interest ( in fact its against Germany national interests too but they dont see that and wont see it that way untill its too late ) but economic boycott would hurt us, a lot.

Of course it is against their national interest because when we are going to be more dependent from Russia ... we are going to listen to Russia I wouldn't be so sure if it is in EU interest or German interest.

You do realise that Poland and Germany are mutually dependent economically as both are each others largest markets ?

I have been making business with Germans and I'd say that they have kind of national calculation. Eventhough for example "deutsche bank" is bridge beetwen Germany and Russia ... I couldn't be costumer of this bank as long as this bank represents interests which are very bad for my country. The same goes to many other companies.

Going back to German products, In my opinion Poles should buy their products because after communism polands "business" was weak and there is need to strenghten it. Going back to German products. Why ?

Lets listen argumentation Germans give when it comes to Nord Stream. IT IS JUST BUSINESS. I see it as our national interest, so we should send signal that it is wrong way. It shouldn't be verbal signal but simple economical signal like small depresion in export to Poland what is more whole central europe durring recession.

Fact is that Slavs need Hungary and that Hungary can greately profit on cooperation with Slavs. We need Hungary for land connection of Southern and Northern Sarmatian lands. Poles should explain that to Hungarians.

I agree that dyplomtic contacts with central-southern european countries can be build on feelings and positive chapters in history (Hungary, Serbia) However I doubt that Tusk is able for such actions in larger scale...
