Lesser, I present you my apologies in case I sounded offensive. I didn't really mean to bully you. Since your point contradicted to other person's one, I'd expected to see your comments on that. The only thing I strive for is a truth. And it may easily matter if somebody tries to pin accusations for the very only Russia. For me justice is not just a set of words. If somebody wants me to be just to him, I may naturally expect equall response. Right? :)

Good response. I've lived there more than year. I thoroughly share all aforesaid. Initially I didn't understand how that might show any ignorance. Ignorance is when people ask me whether I came to the US by plain or by train (from Moscow), or the US was the country that had defeated Hitler, or when people assure me that Srbija is a part of Siberia. :))

You better post in the "humour" thread. Man... I'm f..g tired of alike pseudo-patriots in Russia who wear the same t-shirt as you do ("I hate everything russian") but turned inside out where's written ("I hate everything polish"). Do you really think that your posts are able to do any good for Poles?

The only opinion I've heard so far in Russia about Grunvald battle is that it was one of the most significant examples of Slavic Unity. Normal people would use this historical event as a base for friendship with Poles, for the brotherhood. People like you always stick in throats of normal ones and cause all the wars.

Where did you get these fugures and have you been to Ukraine? They look good only for Eastern Ukraine, if you mean Western Ukraine or Ukraine on the whole those figures are out of place. BTW didn't you know that current ukranian president openly encouraged UPA's veteran's because "they have always fought for "nezalezhnost" (independence) of Velika Ukraina"?

It's hard to believe the Poles when they claim that the Katyn massacre or expulsion comes to them only for the truth , not about politics, as in relations with Ukraine unequivocally renounce the truth in the name of politics

Sure. :) I may express my view on that yet I'm not sure you find my answer irrefragable. Nevertheless...
I don't generally care how Government call the system they build. Whether it's democracy in the US or totalitarism in Russia will always be polysemantic and questionable issues. And these are not the points. The points are that the law should work the same way for everybody regardless of his (her) wealth and political preference, there should be a good mechanism to fight against corruption, government shouldn't rally people round theories of hatred to other countries in the absence of self-improvement ideas, there should be free press and pluralism. These are the main problems of our current power. if we got rid of them, I'd probably be ok with the government.

What do you mean? How do you compare fascist Germany and Communist Russia? What victims do you mean? Millions of Russians left to rot in camps or ousted (the "kulaks")? My family suffered from communists as well but my view on that is like let bygones be bygones. We actully even have a law which allow you to get compensation for bygone crimes (I'm not sure if it works though). So you're welcome to ask for indemnity. BTW do you ask "banderovci" for compensation as they made wreathes around trees out of murdered polish, russian and ukranian kids which they later called "alley (road to) of genuine Ukraine"? If not then it's reasonable to ask for it right now since there're lots of their followers in the West part of Ukraine at nowadays unlike to Russia where it's harder to find any obvious follower of stalin's concepts... They made up "sovereign democracy" instead... which can be even more harmful though. We'll see. Hope my People will be sensible enough to replace our current regime in the nearest future.

Can easily be. Even in Moscow I happened to work with Pole (the only things that said about his polish forefathers were his last name and catholic faith though). As for SP it's genetically much more "europeanized". There are lots of so-called Russian Germans (русские немцы) and perhaps Poles.

Yesterday I read a bit thread "your intimate feelings towards Russia... and so on..." and noticed your even temper there but unfortunatelly didn't have much time to express my view on everything. I will. The question brought there up is provocative per se and isn't expected sober response. Maybe we dealt with another "putinjugend"... :) I don't know. I have to read that carefully.

I would say that people differ drasctically from Muscovities. They're probably more cultured and polite 'cause they're not so concerned about money and SP has less visitors from ex-SU block and russian suburbs in comparison to Moscow who cause there up to 70% of all crimes every year. If you are foreigner in the country you are currently on visit you have to be always careful: I've never been robbed in Russia, but I needed only to go abroad in the very first time to be robbed. But I hope your experience will be only positive...

Offtop: Does anybody know about polish-russian societies and(or) forums of friendship or it sounds fabulously? :)
