Food / Polish hot toddy? [9]

Hi! Does anyone know if there's a Polish equivalent for a Hot Toddy (whiskey or brandy with lemon & cloves etc...) Also, are there any other traditional cold remedies particular to Polish culture?

Thanks.

Merged:What's the best English - Polish Dictionary?

Dzień dobry! I am trying to learn some Polish so I can communicate with my new friend in his own language. (His English is perfect, but I'm really enjoying learning...) I have the Teach Yourself Polish course and a collins gem dictionary so far, however he's intentionally giving me words I need to research, and will probably not find in my dictionary... (fun, but frustrating...)

For instance, I'm guessing signing off with "Do przeczytania" doesn't have anything to do with przeczytac - "reading a book from cover to cover" (d'oh), or maybe it does... (You see the level I'm at...) If anyone can recommend a thorough and comprehensive dictionary I can invest in, I'd appreciate it....

Dziękuję.

Food / Faszerowane Jajka [9]

Hello! I am a British vegetarian who likes cooking and experimenting with new cuisine. My new aquantaince mentioned he had 'faszerowane jajka' at Easter, which from some of my searches, appears to be stuffed egg-shells. The recipies were all in Polish however, and I know very little Polish. Would anyone be willing to provide a recipie, or any other vegetarian Polish dishes? Or let me know where I can source some?

Many thanks.
