Language / Why do people want to study Polish? [90]

I want to learn it because my grandmother and aunts refused to teach us when we were little. They wanted us to be "American." Yet, I think it's sad that I can't communicate in Polish to this day, so I want to learn. Besides, I love learning languages...it's like uncovering a mystery.
