Mohammed peace be upon him came with the legislation thats says men and women are equal with regards to their rewards punishments. But their duties are different and thats obvious a man cant give birth and stay at home to feed the kids , cook and clean. Ofcouse he can help, but these are parts of the duties of a woman . just like men have to work while women dont have to work.

As regarding non muslims its in the quran :

Allâh does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allâh loves those who deal with equity.

Say (O Muhammad ) to the believers to forgive those who (harm them and) hope not for the Days of Allâh (i.e. His Recompense), that He may recompense people according to what they have earned (i.e. to punish these disbelievers, who harm the believers).

If the Muslims should kill non muslims then there would not have been any non muslim living peacfully in islamic countries.
