I learnt recently that "I love David" translates as Ja kocham dawida - why is there an 'a' and the end of dawid? Also if a persons name ended with the letter a (for example Marta) would you have to write Ja kocham martaa?

I have lots of Polish friends in South Manchester and none of them have reported any major incidents of "Pole Hating" as you put it. The area in which a lot of Poles live Levenshulme - this area has many polish shops. Also, many main stream supermarkets are now stocking polish foods and beer! I'm sure you would be made very welcome if you came to Manchester.

Hmm.. People that hate Poles for no reason other than that they are "foreigners" also hate all the other races living here.
Educated English people have a word that perfectly describes unfounded racism - that word is moronic....
