Life / Polish Messengers/Communicators [5]

I wonder which of Polish messengers would work properly on older PC? I am interested in Polish messengers(communicators) using Gadu-Gadu protocol... Thanks a lot for your answer. :-D

I will try AQQ. I downloaded unofficial portable Konnekt but it's size was about 50MB! :-O Well, it's really bad there is no Polish IM klient without adds. I tried Pidgin but Gadu Gadu doesn't work there, I still don't know why. Miranda could be ok but I don't have time and knowledge to configure it... Anyway, thanks for your answer. :-D

I heard about Tlen it should be the second most popular messenger in Poland right after Gadu-Gadu. And Tlen is also a Jabber client like AQQ. It seems guys in Poland love Jabber. :-D But don't forget I want a messenger for an old(slow) PC and I read somewhere Tlen can slow down PC... Now I'm testing Spick... And I have found another messenger without adds that you can find at site k2t.eu/wtw/.

Language / Polish Pronuciation for Non-English Natives [7]

I am a Czech so Polish is relatively close to my native language(Czech language). But Polish has some sounds I can't pronounce(I don't know what to do with my lips and tongue). For example how to pronounce 'rz' or nasal 'ą'. And I can't find any good book on Polish pronunciation. So how can I learn proper Polish pronunciation? Thanks a lot for your effort to help me...

Language / Polish Pronuciation for Non-English Natives [7]

Thanks Piorun for the PDF. It is really helpful... :-D

To Ender: of course I did use Google. It is the first thing I do before asking a question. And I found out there are not much textbooks on Polish language and almost nothing helpful about polish pronunciation...

To Eurola: thanks for that video I will try to find more.

To SzwedwPolsce: it is helpful but for people who can hear differences between polish sounds. For example the difference between ś and sz. For me it is almost the same...
